The National Youth Policy Institute (President Paek Il Hyun) held the 12th Korea Character Citizenship Education Awards Ceremony on December 17, 2024 (Tuesday) at the Somerset Palace Seoul in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and JoongAng Daily.

The ceremony began with a congratulatory speech by Kim Cheon-hong, Director General of the Educational Welfare and Neulbom Support Bureau of the Ministry of Education, and a welcome speech by NYPI President Paek Il Hyun. The event recognized individuals and organizations that contributed to practicing character and citizenship education by discovering exemplary cases and expanding the relevant education. A total of eight teams from individuals and organizations were awarded, followed by remarks from the awardees and a commemorative photo session.
