책 소개
학교폭력의 원인은 개인의 특성, 가정, 학교, 또래관계, 지역사회, 사회문화 등 매우 다양한 요소가 결합하여 발생하는 복합적인 문제이다(김창군 외, 2010; 이상원 외, 2006; 최운선, 2005). 그렇기 때문에 학교폭력 문제를 근본적으로 해결하기 위해서는 학교폭력의 다양한 원인들을 객관적이고 종합적으로 분석하고, 이를 기반으로 한 체계적인 접근과 해결방안을 찾는 작업이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 청소년의 위기 요인 중 특히 학교폭력관련(가해, 피해) 영향요인에 초점을 두고 관련연구를 진행한 연구물들을 종합하여 메타분석 (Meta-analysis)을 실시하였다. 2005년도에 실시된 최운선(2005)의 연구 이후 학교폭력 영향요인에 대한 후속 메타분석 연구가 진행되지 않았기에 2005년 6월 이후부터 2013년 3월까지 국내에서 발표된 학교폭력 관련 연구물들의 결과를 대상으로 학교폭력 관련 영향요인들의 효과크기를 산출함으로써 향후 더욱 효과적인 예방 및 개입방안과 정책적 대안을 제시하는데 활용할 수 있도록 기초자료를 제공하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 하였다.
